Are all your ingredients organic?

Accepted Answer

As much as we can possibly source in organic form, we do. Not all ingredients are available in their organic form, such as some chelators and some naturally-sourced preservatives, but the ingredients we use are all Ecocert Certified.

Is your aluminum packaging recyclable?

Accepted Answer

By golly, yes it is! All our aluminum packaging is recyclable, and it's something we are super proud of. Some of our aluminum packaging containers – like the ones that have a pump or spray top, need to be separated before placing in the recycling bin. So take the tops off first and then recycle!

Are your products nut free?

Accepted Answer

No, they are not. Although not in all of our products, some of them do contain tree-nut and seed-derived ingredients, such as shea butter, coconut oil, marula oil, kokum butter, almond oil, among others. If in doubt, please contact us prior to making a purchase.

How does the Greasy Bang Fix work? Can I use it daily?

The OBLOOM Greasy Bang Fix is a combination of delicate herbs, clays and plant extracts that help absorb the light sebum (or "scalp oil") that is making your hair look greasy. You simply dust it on using a blush brush (like our eco bamboo one here) and then shake off any excess, and go about your day. As the name implies, it's meant as a "quick fix" for when you have oily hair and bangs and did not have time to wash!

Do you use preservatives in your products?

Yes, we mostly do. All of our water-containing products, as well as those which are likely to come in contact with water, contain the most naturally-sourced, effective, broad spectrum preservatives available in the industry today. Without use of these preservatives, your products could become contaminated and make you sick if they were to develop mold or bacteria – and anything that may come into contact with water needs a preservative to be safe. We take great pride in searching for the most naturally-sourced, non-toxic preservatives, all are which Ecocert Certified. Some ingredients may not sound friendly or easy to pronounce, but that's most likely because they are based on their Latin cosmetic name (INCI name) or because of where they're sourced.

What kind of fragrances do you use?

Accepted Answer

Although some of OBLOOM products are unscented for those who prefer it or who cannot use scented products, some include essential oils for their beautiful scent and for their many skin and hair benefits. We ensure all our essential-oil-containing products are added keeping strict dermal limit usage with your safety in mind. If you have specific inquiries, please contact us anytime!
